Paper Cutz Challenge # 51: Paper Doll Dress Up, Everyday Paper Dolls and Create a Critter Card

Our challenge for this card was to have something with wheels on it, any color and any theme we choose.  I decided to do a circus train card.  I used Create a Critter for the elephant, Everyday Paper Dolls for the the train and tent, and Paper Doll Dress up for the clown and grass. The background cloud paper is from DCWV songbird pack and the clown's clothes come from the Animal Crackers pack.  I pop-dotted the elephant, clown and stamped cloud. I used my colorbox fluid chalks to add dimension. This was a fun card to make!
I'm also entering this card in the Fantabulous Cricut challenge #20: At the Zoo

Breezy Backyard summer lever card: sailboat

I am really emjoying these lever cards from SVGcuts.com.  My "baby brother's" birthday is next week and he loves boating, so this was the perfect card for him.  I used DCWV Summer pack as well as a sheet of Coredinations textured cardsock: "reflecting pool" for the inside. I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the bracket on the left of the card.

Lever Card waiting for a sentiment...

I bought the coolest svg card files from SVGcuts.com ... the breezy backyard lever cards collection and I just had to try one!  I used the card base, and not the extra artwork files to make the card below.  I added paper flowers with brads and little pearls on the front .  These cards are the best with two sided cardstock!  I'm leaving the front blank until I have someone to give it to!

Sweet Chocolate dipped Strawberry Card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #34

This is my entry for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #34 which required we use cakes, cupcakes or candy on a card.  Mine has a big blob of yummy chocolate!!  This tri-fold card uses DCWV Nana's Nursery for the patterned papers. The strawberry was cut on SCAL using a file from SVGcuts.com.  The "Sweet" was also cut using SCAL and the font is called "heartland".  I welded the letters into the diagonal shape, and also cut a rounded shadow of the phrase in pink.  I ran it through my xyron and used MS crystal fine glitter to make it sparkle!... Thanks to Momo for that MOST EXCELLENT idea!

A little bird told me....

I spent this morning making this birthday card for a friend.  The phrase came from "Just Because Cards", the bird image is from SVGcuts.com, cut using SCAL. I used the DCWV "songbird" paper stack. I also used my cuttlebug divine swirls folder for the windy sky.

Christmas in July Challenge #4

I suppose I get to use this card after all!  Mary at Cardz TV has issued another Christmas in July challenge and this is my entry. We needed to include a Christmas Tree on this card.  I got the snow covered tree image from SVGcuts.com and the present images are from A Child's Year.  I used green, gold and red foil papers for the presents, and white glitter paper for the snow. I embellished the tree with red buttons.  The "believe" is a stamp covered in gold glitter.

CARD CHALLANGE: Christmas in July #3 for Mary at Cardz TV

This is my entry for the Christmas in July card challange #3 with Mary at Cardz TV!  I made two cards, but I think, hope and pray that is was the better of the two :)  She challenged us to make a Christmas card incorporating ribbon, lace or buttons.  The "Joy" image is from the creative people at SVGcuts.com that I cut using Sure Cuts a Lot on the Cricut.  I used white glitter paper and gold foil paper and finally a snowflake button in the center of the "O".  I hope you like it!
