Purse shaped Gift Bag

The Perfect Gift Bag for Momma!

My mother just celebrated her 66th birthday and I wanted to create an unusual gift bag for the occasion.  As usual, I turned to SVGcuts.com to find something special just for her.  She just LOVES Scrabble and Mary's Playful Parlor kit had this sweet bag in it! The scrabble letters are 3D.  Couldn't fit my momma any better:)  I used the Paper Studio's Poteeka Souffle stack for this bag. It's full of birds and feathers and a wonderful color combo.  I was short on time, so when I make this bag again, I will definitely embellish it with more on the front flap.  It came together easily!

Computer lab bulletin board for typing awards using Cricut

I figure I should also share the cricut stuff I make for my classroom! The first bulletin board I made was to share typing speed awards for the middle school grades six through eight. I cut "tip top typists" out of vinyl...it will be a lot easier to take down without a thousand staples! Right before I took this photo, a student   moved from 20 up to 30 WPM... they hate to wait for me to print out their name on the new color paper... instant gratification! LOL!
I also made a technology word cloud out of vinyl....and, yes, a couple of the words are slanted....I'll fix them soon.

Cupcake Shaped Box and Sweet 16 Card

CUPCAKE Sweet 16 card

and Cupcake shaped box

Once again, it's been far too long since I've posted a craft.  That would be because I haven't had the time to make anything other than the vinyl decals I sell!!  I've gone back to work as the technology teacher for grades K-8 and while I don't work full time, the job has certainly taken any craft time I had in the past!
Yesterday was a dear friend's daughter's Sweet 16 party so I just HAD to make her a card.  I didn't even have the chance to make my own daughter a sweet 16 card and she turned 16 over a month ago!

Gotta bling it up with some sparkle sprinkles!! :)
The little "birthday girl" tag is from Memory Makers Tag Maker.  They are such a fun way to embellish a card.

The cupcake shaped box-( yes, it's a box- I should have taken a picture with the lid off), is the perfect size for a gift card!  I tied some curling ribbon around the box when I was done to make sure the top didn't come off.
