Man's Golfer Birthday card

My "Uncle Dwight" ( a friend of the family since I was 3) is turning 76 on Sunday and this is his birthday card. The golfer came from an online image that I pulled into Inkscape and turned into an svg file.

King Charles Cavalier Spaniel card for my mom:)

My mother's birthday was this past Friday and she got a beautiful King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.  His name is Ringo... appropriate since my mother is English and grew up during the Beatles craze!  I found a clipart of the spaniel online, imported the bitmap into Inkscape, traced the bitmap and then imported it into SCAL and messed around with it, breaking it apart, and pulling out just the pieces I thought would cut well.  Wow!  what a hassle!!  But, I think the end result was great!  The background newspaper cardstock was from K&Company's "life's a journey" stack, as is the blue scalloped edge paper that reminds me of an English garden!
